ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor. Perused the complaint.

The accusation against the petitioner/A1 and other accused is in respect of offences under Sections 498-A, 494, 420 and 506 IPC read with Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The investigation is reported to be pending.

On perusal of the allegations in the complaint, it is not a fit case to order quashment of the proceedings against the petitioner/A1. Therefore, the investigating agency is directed to pursue investigation to its logical end and complete the same at the earliest. However, the police are directed not to arrest the petitioner/A1 during the course of investigation. The petitioner/A1 is directed to cooperate with the investigating agency for smooth completion of investigation and make himself available before the police as and when instructed.

The Criminal Petition is dismissed with the above observations. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition, shall stand dismissed.
