ORDER:

The husband of the petitioner was retired from service as Deputy Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch, in the services of State of Telangana in the year 1971. The petitioner claims the death benefits. The husband being an employee of the State Government and the claim made in the writ petition arises out of the service rendered by the husband in the State of Telangana, the jurisdiction to adjudicate the matters arising out of service in the State of Telangana vests in the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal constituted under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985.

The Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal is the Court of first instance.

2. Having regard to the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to avail the remedy available under the A.P. Tribunals Act, 1985. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
