THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 5315 of 2015 ORDER:

It is the case of the petitioners that they are the owners of an agricultural land in an extent of Ac.2-10 cents in Survey No.714-B of Kalikiri village, Kalikiri mandal, Chittoor district, having purchased it through a registered document No.954/1995 of Sub-Registrar's Office, Kalikiri. They state that they made an application on 06.11.2014 under the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Land (Conversion for Non-Agricultural Purposes) Act, 2006 and they also paid requisite fees for converting their agricultural land for non-agricultural purpose. But the respondents 1 and 2 have not passed any orders on their application. Hence, the writ petition.

2. As the grievance is in narrow compass, the respondent authorities shall consider the petitioners' application and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and communicate the same to the petitioners.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, stand closed.
