ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/accused, seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.99 of 2016 of Devarapalli Police Station, West Godavari District, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 354(D), 509, 506 I.P.C. & Sections 11 of POCSO Act, against him.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.

3. From a perusal of the complaint, it cannot be said that there is no material to proceed against the petitioner/accused. Therefore, it is not a fit case to quash the proceedings against him. The truth or otherwise of the allegations made against the petitioner can only be decided during the course of trial.

4. In that view of the matter, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.

5. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
