THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.20089 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- "to issue writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the 3rd respondent in not considering the representation of the petitioner dated 15.05.2017 for disqualifying the 4th respondent as 12th Ward member of Bobbili Municipal Council and violation of Section 13(B) of the A.P. Municipalities Act, 1967 is contrary, bad and illegal, contrary to law, and violation of Article 14 of the Constitution of India, consequently direct the 3rd respondent to examine and take a decision forthwith about the disqualification of the 4th respondent from the Bobbili Municipal Council in the interest of justice."

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner requested the Court to direct respondent No.3 herein to consider the representation, dated 15.05.2017, of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, respondent No.3 is hereby directed to consider the representation, dated 15.05.2017, of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
