The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, declaring the action of the respondent No.2 in not registering the sale deeds, in respect of land in Survey No. 170 for the plots bearing Nos. 14, 15, 16, 19, 24 and 25, total admeasuring 1336 sq.yards, situated in Laxmi Nagar Colony, Near Bhavana Rishi Cooperative Housing Society, Malkajgiri-Medchal district, as illegal, improper and incorrect. 2.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner mainly submits that though the petitioner presented the documents for registration, the Sub Registrar is not registering the same, and not giving any reason for non registration. He submits that the petitioner also made a representation to the Tahsildar on 31.08.2018 requesting him to register the sale deed.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that there is no evidence on record to show that the petitioner has presented the documents for registration, and if he has presented the same, the Sub Registrar would have passed an order, either accepting or rejecting the request of the petitioner. 4.

In view of the above circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the petitioner to present the document/ s for registration before the concerned Sub

Registrar, if not already presented, and if the said document/ s fulfill the requirements of the Indian Stamp Act, the Indian Registration Act and rules made thereunder, the concerned Sub Registrar shall receive and register the same. In case if he is not intending to register the same, he shall record reasons and communicate a copy of the same to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
