The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, with the following prayer:

"To issue a writ or order/s more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents no. 2 and 3 in not registering a crime pursuant to complaint lodged on behalf of the petitioner on 23-112012, as being illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India; and consequently direct the second respondent td forthwith register the complaint of the petitioner dated 23-11-2012, and restore possession of house bearing no. MIG-27/1 situated at Dharma Reddy colony, Kukatpally village, Balanagar mandal, Hyderabad to the petitioner by evicting the respondents no. 4 to 9;"

It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned counsel appearing for unofficial respondents that the police already registered Crime No.947 of 2012 and in view of the same, nothing survives in the writ petition for further adjudication.

Recording the same, the writ petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
