COMMON ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Special standing counsel for respondent and with their consent the writ petitions are taken up for disposal at the stage of admission. 2.

Petitioner in W P No. 35264 of 2018 is Engineering Consultant and petitioner in W P No. 35266 of 2018 is Technical Assistant in MGMREGS. Petitioners were placed under suspension by order dated 23.3.2018 and served with show cause notices on various allegations leveled therein. Alleging that there is no further progress in the disciplinary proceedings and they are continuing to be under suspension, these writ petitions are filed.

3.

When the matter is taken up, learned Special Standing Counsel for respondent informed the Court that on consideration of the matter further personal hearing was conducted but soon thereafter incumbent Project Director was transferred and new Project Director is posted. He would further submit that the new Project Director is likely to take charge within short time and if one month time is granted, proceedings would be completed. To said suggestion, learned counsel for petitioner fairly agrees.

4.

Accordingly, writ petitions are disposed of directing the Project Director to conclude the disciplinary proceedings as expeditiously as possible, preferable within one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If for any reason, there is delay in concluding the disciplinary proceedings not attributable to petitioners, petitioners shall be reinstated without prejudice to continuation of disciplinary proceedings. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
