HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6400 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.144 of 2014 on the file of XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, L.B.Nagar, Ranga Reddy District, which was registered against them for the offences under Sections 498-A, 323, 506 IPC and Sections 3 & 4 of D.P. Act. 2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 07.02.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, WPS Saroornagar, Rachakonda Commissionerate and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 15.07.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.144 of 2014 on the file of XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, L.B.Nagar, Ranga Reddy District, has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

3) There is no representation for petitioners.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
