HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 35098 of 2018 ORDER:
1) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the fourth respondent in not disposing of the application of the petitioners dated 06.09.2016, as illegal and arbitrary. 2) The grievance of the petitioner is that though an application was made on 06.09.2016, till date the same is not considered.
3) The Government Pleader for Revenue (TG) would submit that if the said application is still pending consideration, the authorities may be directed to consider the said representation in accordance with law.
4) Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of, directing the fourth respondent to dispose of the representation dated 06.09.2016, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three to five months from the date of receipt of the order, if the same is made and still pending consideration. No order as to costs.
5) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
