ORDER :
This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in prescribing the maximum age limit of only 30 years to the OC category and 4 years relaxation only to the candidates who did apprenticeship in the 2nd respondent Corporation to the posts of Shramiks as per notification dated 23.12.2011 without relaxing the age limit for the apprenticeship period and without extending the benefits of G.O.Ms.No.1 General Administration (Ser.A) Department dated 02.01.2012 as arbitrary, illegal, violative of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and a consequential direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner by giving age relaxation upto 39 years with relaxation of 5 years thereof to the SC, ST and BC categories as was done in the case of direct recruitment and in terms of G.O.Ms.No.1 General Administration (Ser.A) Department Dated 02.01.2012.
2. When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner represents that the subject matter of the writ petition has become infructuous.
3. Recording the said statement, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
