HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.34897 OF 2018 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not furnishing the information as per the application dated 3.8.2018, made by the petitioner, as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner submitted the application on 3.8.2018, seeking to furnish the information, as to the "details of the Chief Transport Officer in the year 2016 and office which provided him in GHMC and where is the main office of Chief Transport Section in Hyderabad", till date no information is furnished. Hence, the present writ petition.

Learned Standing Counsel for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, would submit that the respondent-authorities may be directed to dispose of the application dated 3.8.2018, submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents, to deal with the application dated 3.8.2018, submitted by the petitioner seeking to furnish the information as to the "details of the Chief Transport Officer in the year 2016 and office which provided him in GHMC and where is the main office of Chief Transport Section in Hyderabad", and dispose of the same, in accordance with law and furnish the information to the petitioner, as early as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from today, if the petitioners are otherwise, entitled.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, WP.M.Ps if any pending shall stand closed.
