COMMON ORDER:

These two contempt cases are filed alleging wilful disobedience of separate orders dt.10.07.2015 in W.P. Nos.21106 and 20904 of 2015 respectively.

When these contempt cases came up on 31.12.2015, the orders passed by the respondent rejecting the petitioners' claims were brought to the notice of this Court. As this Court perceived the said orders as contrary to the observations made by this Court in the two writ petitions, learned Standing Counsel for the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation has taken time for advising the respondent. Accordingly, today, the learned Standing Counsel placed before the Court copies of Office Orders dt.02.01.2016 passed by the respondent wherein he has withdrawn his earlier proceedings dt.26.11.2015 rejecting the petitioners' claims for salary. He has also passed separate orders on 04.01.2016 holding that the petitioner in W.P. No.21106 of 2015 is entitled for payment of salary for the period from 05.12.2014 to 12.03.2015, and the petitioner in W.

P. No.20904 of 2015 is entitled for payment of salary for the period from 06.12.2010 to 22.11.2011, and they are also entitled for fixation of their pay in Driver's Scale. The respondent has also advised the Depot Manager, Karimnagar-II Depot, to take immediate action to fix the petitioners' pay in the cadre of Driver Grade-II and pay salary for the above periods respectively.

In view of the above corrective steps taken by the respondent, the orders of this Court have stood complied with and the contempt cases are accordingly closed.
