THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.PRAVEEN KUMAR W.P.NOS.20146, 20147, 20215 AND 20224 OF 2017 COMMON ORDER These writ petitions, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, came to be filed seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent - Registrar, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur District, in not issuing the affiliation to the colleges of the petitioners' for B.EI.ED and B.Sc. B.Ed., (integrated) programmes respectively, for four years with annual intake of 50 students (1 unit) for the academic year 2017-2018, as illegal and arbitrary. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Education for respondents 1 and 2 and learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.3. With their consent, these writ petitions are being disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

Though various grounds are raised in the writ petitions, the learned counsel for the petitioners restrict their prayer seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the applications made by the petitioner - colleges seeking affiliation, at the earliest.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent submits that he has no objection for directing the 3rd respondent to dispose of the representations submitted by the petitioners, provided the same are still pending consideration.

In W.P.No.17506 of 2017 dated 6.7.2017 this court while considering similar request, directed the 3rd respondent to deal with the representation of the petitioner therein in accordance with law within a certain time limit. Having regard to the above, without going into the merits of the cases, the writ petitions are disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to deal with the representations submitted by the petitioners seeking affiliation to the courses

referred to in the representations, if such representations are still pending consideration, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous petitions pending in these writ petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
