HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.12928 of 2013 ORDER:

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The prayer sought in the writ petition is as follows: "... to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly in the nature of writ of certiorari calling for records of the respondents in opening and continuation of the rowdy sheet against the petitioner in Raidurga Police Station examine the same and declare that the action of the respondents as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and amounts to infringement of the fundamental right guaranteed under Article 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to close the rowdy sheet opened against the petitioner by declaring the memo issued by the ACP as illegal, unlawful, contrary to the decisions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court and this Hon'ble Court." Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents informs the Court that the rowdy sheet continuing against the petitioner was already closed on 02.08.2015.

In the light of the above statement made by the learned Government Pleader, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition and the same is liable to be closed.
