THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY CC No.768 OF 2016 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed alleging violation of the interim order dated 11-03-2015 passed in WPMP No.50739 of 2014 in WP No.40465 of 2014. This Court by the said interim order directed the respondent to take decision for allotment of alternative lands to the petitioners as their lands situate in D.No.188 situate at Ankireddypalem, Guntur town, were acquired for allotment to the landless poor people.

After issuance notices in this contempt case, counter affidavit is filed by the respondent-District Collector, Guntur, wherein it is stated that the case of the petitioner and other similarly situated persons is considered and proceedings in Rc.No.3377(A)/2009-E2, dated 04-08-2016 is issued wherein land to an extent of 1400 sq. yards in Sy.No.529/3A of Chowdavaram village, Guntur mandal, is allotted to the petitioner and other persons, subject to complying certain conditions as per the Board Standing Orders of the Government for exchange of land at the disposal of the Government for private land.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has complied with the conditions stipulated in proceeding dated 04-08-2016 passed by the respondent. In the circumstances, the respondent to take

further action in the matter within a period of four weeks from today. In view of the compliance of the order of this Court passed in the above WPMP, the contempt case is accordingly closed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this contempt case shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
