THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.37644 OF 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner seeks consideration of his application filed for grant of pattadar passbook and title deeds by incorporating his name in the revenue records. The petitioner is stated to have made an application in the prescribed proforma and also paid the requisite fee in A.P. Online on 10.11.2014. Alleging inaction on the part of the 3rd respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed. In view of the fact that the petitioner has already made a statutory application under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971, it is appropriate to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the said application on its own merits and pass appropriate orders thereon expeditiously, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
