THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.123 of 2012 ORDER:

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the respondents and their subordinates in withholding and deducting 0.25% from the gross bill amounts payable to the petitioners' works contracts towards National Academy of Construction (NAC) and Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF).

This Court held that the recovery of amount for the above purpose was contrary to law in State of Andhra Pradesh v. National Academy of Construction, Hyderabad[1].

In view of the same, this Writ Petition is allowed following the aforesaid decision. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
