Petitioner was granted Form-C Certificate of licence No.67 of 2011 dated 18.5.2011, renewed under renewal No.31 of 2014 dated 24.5.2014 valid till 16.5.2017. During the subsistence of the licence period, licence of the petitioner was cancelled by order dated 15.10.2016. This order was challenged in W.P.No.1412 of 2017 and this Court granted interim direction in the said writ petition on 24.1.2017, imposing conditions mentioned therein. Pursuant to the said interim direction, licence of the petitioner was in operation. On expiry of the licence period, petitioner claims to have submitted an application for renewal of the licence, but renewal was not granted on the ground that already licence was cancelled and the writ petition is pending.

Writ Petition No.1412 of 2017 is allowed by this Court by a separate order, setting aside the order of cancellation of licence dated 15.10.2016. In view of the same, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to consider the renewal application submitted by the petitioner on 3.5.2017, in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
