The case of the petitioner is that though leasehold rights in respect of land admeasuring Ac.6-04 cents in RS.Nos 47 and 48 of Kaikaram Village of Ungutur Mandal expired in the year 2016, the respondents have not conducted fresh auction.

Learned counsel for the petitioners says that there is standing crop existing in the subject land and if fresh auction is conducted the petitioner will participate in the same.

Learned Standing Counsel for Endowments on instructions submits that since season is commenced, the respondents will immediately issue auction notification in respect of subject land.

Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of. Meanwhile, the petitioner is permitted to harvest his crop which is existing in the subject land. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
