This petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, who is the accused, in Crime No.5 of 2018 on the file of Station House Officer, Mahabubabad Town Police Station, Mahabubabad District. The offences alleged are under Sections 448, 354, 354(a), 376 read with 511 IPC.

Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

A perusal of the report shows that the petitioner entered into the house of the victim and pressurised her to satisfy his sexual lust. Hence, considering the nature of the allegations, this court opines that this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail.

In the result, the criminal petition is dismissed. However, considering the request of the counsel for the petitioner, the police are directed to follow the provisions of Section 41-A Cr.P.C before effecting the arrest of the petitioner. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
