THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No. 1459 OF 2017 O R D E R:

This Contempt Case is filed complaining willful disobedience on the part of the respondents in complying with the order dated 28.04.2017 passed by this Court in W.P.M.P.No.19763 of 2017 in Writ Petition No. 16077 of 2017.

Through the above-said order, the 2nd respondent in the Writ Petition was directed to file an affidavit within eight weeks from that day, as regards the action taken on the representation of the petitioner dated 09.03.2017.

It is not in dispute that such an affidavit has been filed in the Writ Petition, but however, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the stand taken by the respondents is vague and it does not satisfy the order complained of in this Contempt Case. In view of the fact that the direction given by this Court being limited and also in view of the affidavit filed narrating the steps taken by the 2nd respondent, if the petitioner is not satisfied, it is for him to question the same in the main Writ Petition, but not by way of initiating contempt proceedings.

In those circumstances, the Contempt Case stands dismissed.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall stand closed.
