Learned counsel for the petitioners addressed a letter dated 24.01.2017 to the Registrar (Judicial) to place the matter before the Court to seek permission to withdraw the present petition. Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present petition as the parties names are wrongly mentioned in the First Information Report.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the present Criminal Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
