Vide present writ petition, petitioners seek Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in not paying the compensation amount for their acquired lands admeasuring Ac.3.77 cents in R.S.Nos.81/3, 82/2. 83/3 and 249/2C of Teegalavancha Revenue Village, Chintalapudi Mandal, West Godavari District in pursuance of the award enquiry proceedings in ROC No.70/2012 (SDT), as illegal and violative of provisions of The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (for short 'the Act') and consequently direct the respondents to pay the compensation for the lands.

Heard learned counsel for both parties and perused the material placed on record.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submitted that for the issue raised in the writ petition, the petitioners made representation on 02.04.2015, however, till date no decision has been taken.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation filed by the petitioners shall be disposed of in accordance with law.

Keeping in view the averments made in the writ petition and the submission of learned counsel for both the parties, this writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.3 to consider the representation dated 19.05.2016 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall

stand closed.
