Gochipathala Chinnamma, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh

2015-09-22Vilas V.Afzulpurkar2 pages

HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.30816 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard.

The grievance of the petitioners is that their appeal is pending before the 2nd respondent since 06-12-2013 and though notices of date of hearing were given including the last notice fixing the date of hearing as 26-07-2014, the hearing could not be taken place and the matter remains pending. The petitioners submit that non-disposal of the said appeal is causing serious prejudice to them and requested this Court to issue appropriate directions for early disposal of the appeal.

Heard the learned Government Pleader for Revenue. Since the appeal is pending from 2013, the 2nd respondent is directed to fix an early date of hearing of the appeal, after notice to all the parties concerned and hear and decide the appeal expeditiously, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
