HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 10037 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section Cr.P.C, the petitioner/accused seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C No. 1195 of 2012 on the file of III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, which was registered for the offences under Section 420 IPC (FIR No. 917 of 2010 of Sanjeevareddy Nagar Police Station). 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 25.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, S.R. Nagar Police Station, Hyderabad City and submitted that the accused has been discharged for the offences vide Crl.M.P.No. 1743 of 2015 dated 26..5.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C No. 1195 of 2013 on the file of III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
