Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents.

Petitioner's grievance is that the petitioner had approached 3rd respondent for mutation in the revenue record and for issuance of e passbook in his favour in respect of the subject land by way of application dt.24-02-2016 and that 3rd respondent is not taking any action pursuant thereto.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents states that 3rd respondent will take action on the basis of the petitioner's application within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioners.

Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing 3rd respondent to pass orders on the petitioners' application within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioners. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if

any pending, shall stand closed.
