Petitioners made an application before the Tahsildar, Ieeza Mandal, Mahabubnagar District (4th respondent) to mutate their names in the revenue records. The said request of the petitioners was rejected by endorsement dated 18.03.2016. Petitioners claim that aggrieved by the said endorsement, they have filed appeal on 15.04.2016 before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Gadwal, Mahabubnagar District, and the said appeal is not disposed of till date. Aggrieved thereby, petitioners complained to the District Collector, as well as Chief Commissioner of Land Administration. Inspite of their directions also, so far the appeal is not disposed of. 3.

Having regard to these submissions, without entering into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, to examine the claim of the petitioners by treating the petition filed by the petitioners as appeal, if the same is pending. The petitioners shall furnish the list of persons who are likely to be affected in the event of consideration of appeal filed by them to the RDO, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On furnishing the list of persons, the RDO shall cause notice on the said persons and give opportunity to them and after hearing the concerned parties, he shall pass final orders on the said appeal. There shall be no order as to costs.

- 3 - Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
