THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No. 10344 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short, 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioners-accused Nos. 2 and 4 to quash the proceedings against them in crime No. 142 of 2018 of Saroornagar Women Police Station, Rachakonda.

After arguing the case for awhile, learned counsel for the petitioners has requested this Court to direct the concerned S.H.O. to follow the procedure under Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar Vs. State of Bihar and another1. 3.

Acceding to the request of learned counsel for the petitioners, the Station House Officer, Saroornagar Women Police Station, Rachakonda, is directed to follow the procedure under Section 41-A of Cr.P.C. and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar (supra).

With the above direction, the criminal petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this criminal petition shall stand closed in consequence.
