Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the Civil Supplies (AP).

2. This writ petition is filed seeking Writ of Mandamus declaring the orders of the 2nd respondent in E.C.P.No.330 of 2014 dated 02.03.2015, as null and void.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the 2nd respondent ordered release of the vehicle of the petitioner on condition of furnishing bank guarantee for a sum of Rs.4,79,050/-. According to the petitioner, imposing of such huge amount as bank guarantee is arbitrary and he seeks for reduction of the bank guarantee in the present writ petition.

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is not inclined to interfere with the discretion exercised by the 2nd respondent-The District Collector (CS), Krishna at Machilipatnam. However, the petitioner may approach the 2nd respondent again and make a fresh application for reducing the bank guarantee.
