THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 45745 of 2016 ORDER:
This writ petition was filed challenging the action of respondent Nos.2 to 4 particularly respondent No.4 in harassing the petitioners at the instance of respondent No.5. Learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of oral instructions, submits that respondent No.5 lodged a complaint, which was registered as Crime No.257 of 2016, dated 27.12.2016, and the Police are investigating the said Crime.
The allegation of the petitioners is that the father of respondent No.5 is working as Head Constable and influencing the investigation and that the police are harassing them during the course of investigation.
In view of the above, the Police can go ahead with investigation, but they shall not harass the petitioners. It is needless to observe that the Police shall follow due process of law during the course of investigation.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________ A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO,J Dt:09.02.2017 kdl
