Heard. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, this Writ Petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission. 2.

The petitioner alleges that she is the absolute owner and possessor of house bearing No.50/7-5-B situated at Journalist Colony B Camp, Kurnool Town and District. She apprehends that the respondent - Corporation would demolish the subject property and dispossess her from it in the process of widening of the road in front of her property. Hence, this Writ Petition. 3.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent - Municipality, on instructions, submits that whenever private property is affected in the process of widening of the road, the respondent - Corporation would ordinarily follow the due process and the Writ Petition is filed only with an apprehension. 4.

Having regard to the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent - Corporation to follow the due procedure if it intends to acquire the property of the petitioner for any development activity, including widening of the road, before affecting her property, if not already followed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
