ORDER:- Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. With the consent of both the parties, the main writ petition is heard and disposed of at the admission stage itself. The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in considering the representation of the petitioners for allotment of Government poramboke land admeasuring Acs.10.36 cents in Survey No.832/1 situated at Idupuru Village, Markapur Mandal, Prakasam District, by issuing passbooks, title deeds, ROR, etc. in their favour, as illegal and arbitrary. The case of the petitioners is that they have been cultivating the Government land, called as Vaagu poramboke, admeasuring Acs.10.36 cents in Survey No.832/1 situated at Idupuru Village since long time and their names were also entered in the Adangals and Pahanies. Their grievance is that though they made a representation to the 3rd respondent seeking assignment of the said land in their favour, no orders are passed till date.

The petitioners placed on record a copy of the representation said to have been made to the 3rd respondent which does not contain the date on which it was made. Having regard to the circumstances stated above, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioners and if the said representation is not available, the petitioners shall make a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent, in which event, the same shall be dealt with, in accordance with law, at the earliest. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall also stand closed.
