HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.45456 OF 2016 ORDER:
This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner seeking to declare the inaction of the 2nd respondent in considering the application filed by the petitioner on 21.03.2016 for correction of entries in revenue records, as illegal and arbitrary.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for respondents. With their consent, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.
The limited grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that though he filed a representation on 21.03.2016 for correction of entries in revenue records in respect of land in survey No.621 admeasuring Ac.1.39 guntas situated at Ellandakunta Village and Mandal, Karimnagar District, till date no orders are passed. Learned AGP would submit that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the application made by the petitioner in accordance with law.
Having regard to the rival submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent-The Collector to dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner on 21.03.2016 for correction of entries in revenue records in respect of land in survey No.621 admeasuring Ac.1.39 guntas situated at Ellandakunta Village and Mandal, Karimnagar District, in
accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any, at the earliest, preferably within a period of eight to ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
