HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER WRIT PETITION No.3993 OF 2017 ORDER: (Per Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) Learned Advocate General for the State of Andhra Pradesh, appearing on behalf of the respondents, would submit that the Government has decided to keep the impugned proceedings in abeyance and that a formal order to that effect would be issued in the next couple of days.
In view of the submission, now made by the learned Advocate General, the cause in this writ petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court.
Leaving it open to the petitioners, in case the said proceedings are brought into force later, to question such proceedings in appropriate legal proceedings, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
