Petitioner competed to the post of Police Constable pursuant to the notification in Rc.No.151/Rect./Admn.1/2015 dated 31.12.2015 issued by the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board. In the said recruitment, petitioner secured 98.25 marks and according to the petitioner, he is eligible for selection as Stipendiary Cadet / Trainee (SCT) Police Constable (TSSP). But he was not selected. Hence the writ petition. The learned Government Pleader for Services on instructions stated that petitioner is within the zone of selection and appropriate steps are being taken to communicate the petitioner about his selection as Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constable in Telangana State Special Police. In view of the above statement made by the learned Government Pleader for Services on instructions, no further orders are required to be passed and the writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
