This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.'), is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.250 of 2013 on the file of Bhimavaram I Town Police Station, West Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A read with Section 34 of I.P.C. and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

During hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Andhra Pradesh represented that the case ended in compromise, vide order dated 13.07.2016 passed in Crl.P.No.7123 of 2016 by this Court. Therefore, the question of quashing the FIR does not arise at this stage. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand dismissed.
