HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE B. SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.9811 of 2014 ORDER :

This Criminal Petition is filed by the Petitioners/Accused Nos.1 to 3 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.97 of 2013 of Woman Police Station, Kurnool, Kurnool District registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

2) When the matter came up for hearing, the respondent State represented by the Public Prosecutor submitted that in the above crime, both the parties have entered into compromise and the same was recorded before the Lok Adalat as a pre-litigation case and no cause survives for adjudication in this criminal petition and the same has become infructuous.
