THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.44774 OF 2016 ORDER:

The writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the police authorities in harassing and torturing the petitioner as illegal and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take action against the seventh respondent as per the complaints launched by the petitioner.

Heard and perused the material.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the fifth respondent is compelling the petitioner to compromise the issue with the respondents 8 and 9. He further submits that the fifth respondent is confining the petitioner in police custody hours together without assigning any reason only to see that the petitioner come to the terms of respondents 8 and 9. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home (Telangana), on instructions, submits that a case is registered against the petitioner in crime No.91 of 2016 and in that connection, the petitioner is called to the police station for the purpose of investigation and after completion of investigation, the charge sheet is also filed. After completion of the investigation in the above crime, the official respondents, more particularly the fifth respondent, have not called the petitioner to the police station and they are not compelling the petitioner to compromise the issue with the respondents 8 and 9.

Recording the submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home (Telangana), the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any shall also stand disposed of.
