When the matter is taken up for hearing, this Court noticed that the relief sought for by the petitioner in writ petition was to issue a direction to the respondents to consider his case for appointment in terms of B.P.Ms.No.36, dated 18.05.1997. 3.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondentCorporation had informed this Court that the said B.P.No.36, dated 18.05.1997 was withdrawn.

In view of the same, no relief can be granted to the petitioner and the writ petition is dismissed.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
