THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.1457 of 2011

ORDER

In this petition, petitioner sought for a direction to issue call letter for the post of Electrician and to subject the petitioner for selection process.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for the respondents informed the Court that in terms of the interim direction of this Court, call letter was issued and the petitioner was subjected to selection process. Learned Standing Counsel further informed the Court that in fact, petitioner's eligibility was assessed and by proceedings dated 27.04.2011, the petitioner was informed that he was not eligible to compete for the said post.

3. In view of the subsequent developments, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

4. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed. However, dismissal of this writ petition does not come in the way of prosecuting his grievance with reference to his eligibility to the post of Electrician.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
