THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.36368 OF 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner had applied for mutation after death of his mother, Smt. Mettu Balamma, w/o. Sri Mettu Yadi Reddy, with regard to Acs.5.021⁄2 guntas of land standing in her name in Nemaragomula Village by approaching the Tahsildar, Bibinagar Mandal, Nalgonda District, the 4th respondent. The record shows that the survey was already conducted and a report was submitted by the Mandal Revenue Inspector, Bibinagar, to the 4th respondent and a notice indicating the date of hearing was also given by the 4th respondent in Lr.No.B/1987/2015, dated 23.06.2015. The petitioner alleges that thereafter no further action is taken and the petitioner's application is kept pending.

In the circumstances, it is appropriate to direct the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's application on the basis of record and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law expeditiously and in any case within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
