C. Goverdhan Rao v. The State Of Telangana
THE HON'BLE Dr . JUSTI CE SHAMEEM AKTHER I .A.No.2 of 2 0 1 9 in / an d W RI T PETI TI ON No.3 5 4 5 9 of 2 0 1 8 ORDER:
Both the writ petitioner, viz., C.Goverdhan Rao and his counsel Sri M.Rameshwar Rao are present.
The writ petitioner filed I.A.No.2 of 2019 seeking permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition.
When this Court enquired the petitioner about withdrawal of the writ petition, he stated that since he has compromised the matter with the respondents, he intends to withdraw the same and to that effect, he made an endorsement on the writ petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner opposed to withdraw the writ petition stating that subsequent to filing of the writ petition, the petitioner made certain allegations against him. If the learned counsel for the petitioner is aggrieved for any adverse remarks made against him, he has to work out remedies available under law. There is no reason to refuse withdrawal of the writ petition. The writ petitioner is present and made a request both orally and in writing to withdraw the writ petition. Therefore, I.A.No.2 of 2019 is allowed permitting the writ petitioner to withdraw the writ petition. Consequently, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
