THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.509 of 2017 O R D E R:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dt.21.11.2016 in W.P.No.31583 of 2015. 2.

In the said Writ Petition, this Court had directed respondents 1 and 2 to pay salaries for the period the petitioners were out of service i.e., from 01.07.2015 till 04.03.2017, when allegedly the services of the petitioners were terminated by the respondents.

This direction was complied with by the respondents on 14.08.2018 with a delay of almost 21⁄2 years. 4.

Unconditional apology has been tendered by the respondents for the delay in complying with the order and mentioning certain reasons for the said delay. 5.

The unconditional apology tendered by the respondents is accepted, subject to the respondents compensating the petitioners by paying interest @ 9% per annum from the date on which the salaries fell due till the date of payment, within a period of four (04) weeks from today.

The Contempt Case is closed with the above directions. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
