No. 3221 of 2013 * t Order:W When the matter was taken up for hearing, Iearned Government Pleader for Services appearing for the petitioners informed this Court that during the pendency of the case the respondent has retired from service and the writ petition can be closed as infructuous.
2. Learned Government Pleader for Services further contended that the Tribunal has directed for adhoc promotion and the order of the Tribunal may not come in the way of subsequent revision of the respondent.
3. This Court is of the considered view that respondent has retired from service and the Tribunal has directed for adhoc promotion, hence no order need to be passed in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. It is needless to say that the petitioners shall are entitled to revised seniority Iist.

4. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pendlng in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
