Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for APEPDCL appearing for the respondents. 2.

Petitioner filed this Writ Petition aggrieved by shifting of post occupied by him to a different place. He claims that his post cannot be shifted as it would result in transfer, whereas he was holding assignment as Regional Secretary of a registered Trade Union. Petitioner also placed reliance on the orders of the Chairman and Managing Director for his retention. 3.

Having regard to these facts, the Court, by order dated 10.10.2012, directed respondents to continue the petitioner as Junior Accounts Officer in the Construction Division of APEPDCL, Rajahmundy.

Sri M. Ravindra, learned Standing Counsel for APEPDCL, informed the Court that subsequently petitioner was transferred to AP TRANSCO and he is presently working therein. 5.

As the subject matter of the Writ Petition concerns shifting of post, which would have resulted in transfer of petitioner within APEPDCL, as petitioner later moved out of the respondent - Company to AP TRANSCO, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
