When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during pendency of this writ petition, the respondents have conducted enquiry and dismissed the petitioner from service. Therefore, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. However, liberty may be given to the petitioner to challenge the order of dismissal. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is given liberty to challenge the dismissal order, if he is so advised. No order as to costs.
