ORAL ORDER:

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for petitioner informed the Court that petitioner died in January, 2017 and no further steps were taken to bring the legal representatives on record and Writ Petition No. 287 of 2017 itself is dismissed as abated by this Court by order dated 6.7.2017 leaving it open to the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner to work out their remedies as available under law.

In view of the above developments, contempt case is closed. No costs.
