ORDER :
This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not constituting Bhadrachalam Mandal Praja Parishath after bifurcation of the State of Andhra Pradesh with Mandal Praja Parishath President under the provisions of A.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (for short 'the Act, 1994') even after lapse of one year as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions contained in Sections 148 to 153 of the Act 1994 and consequently direct the respondents to declare to constitute Mandal Praja Parishath of Bhadrachalam, Khammam District duly including the names of the petitioners for casting their votes in the ensuing Member of Legislative Council.

When the matter is taken up, learned Standing counsel representing the State Election Commission, produced the notification issued on 22.06.2015 directing the Collector and District Election authority, Khammam to authorize a Gazetted Officer of the Government to conduct election to the office of Member(Co-opted), President and Vice-President of Bhadrachalam Mandal Praja Parishad in Khammam District. Learned Standing Counsel also states that vide orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.51, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department dated 20.06.2015, the Government of Telangana constituted the Bhadrachalam Mandal with the remaining one (1) Gram Panchayat and 13 Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies and also issued notification constituting Bhadrachalam Mandal Praja Parishad as indicated therein. In pursuant to the said orders of the Government, the above notification was issued on 22.06.2015.
3. Having regard to the same, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
