The present writ petition came to be filed seeing to declare the action of the respondents 1 to 4 in not taking any action to prevent illegal constructions being made by the 5th respondent and others in the side bund of "Sudda Vagu" on the west of the house of the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Revenue, on institutions, would submit that basing on the representation submitted by the petitioners, the Revenue and Municipal authorities have inspected the subject location and removed the encroachments made by the 5th respondent on 3.10.2018 and hence the writ petition may be closed. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.
